I started school at Cotaco during my first grade year and graduated from Cotaco in 1970. Later I graduated from Athens State University with an Elementary Education Certification. I got this certification in 1976 and was hired on staff at Cotaco. I then enrolled at the University of North Alabama for my Masters in Education certification and later followed that with an administrative certification from Alabama A&M in Huntsville. This is my 34th year on staff at Cotaco. I have many wonderful memories of Cotaco. I love the school and this community. I am married with 3 daughters. The people I admire most are parents that nurture the physical, emotional, and spiritual well being of their children. I have been actively involved in church since 1976. I enjoy reading and outdoor activities.
